Calderdale Explorers

Calderdale Hawks play in the Leeds Local League Division 2 and play and train at North Halifax Grammar School . The self-funded club was formed in 1990. The Club originally trained and played in their local village of Queensbury, using the sports hall in Queensbury school. The founding member of the club was Keith Briggs, who at the time resided as the head teacher.

Calderdale Hawks played as Queensbury Hawks until the 2024 - 2025 season
